Collecting Belt Buckles

Collecting belt buckles is like collecting anything else. You look for condition above all else. There are many categories of buckles such as novelty, beer, truck and car, biker, rhinestone, and just about anything else you might be interested in. There are many good places to find vintage or new buckles on line. Here are a couple of belt buckles that I have for sale in my shop.

Vintage Summer Bangles

Bangles are a wonderful way to dress up a pair of jeans, a skirt and t-shirt with a jacket or a pair of bermuda shorts with a pair of high heels. I've become a collector of bangles, especially vintage bangles. The quality and colors just can't be matched...

Check out the bangles I have for sale at http://goodneighborvintage.etsy.com/

Vintage Cubic Zirconia Engagement Ring

When I found this lovely ring at one of my favorite haunts I was certain this was a diamond engagement ring. The band was well worn and had thinned as if someone had never taken this ring off for many, many years.

I took this ring to my jeweler and learned that in fact this was not a diamond ring, but a cubic zirconia ring. Cubic zirconia stones have been manufactured for a very long time. My jeweler said that this ring is very pretty and it is possible that whoever owned this ring didn't know that it was a fake. It was given in love and worn with love. After that nothing else matters.

Vintage Mobil Pegasus tie tack made up of red enamel cloisonne and measures 1 inch long and 3/4 inch tall. This collectible pin is from the 1950's and is in very good vintage condition. When I found this pin and did the research I found that there is a whole group of vintage collectibles called Petroliana. If you collect petroliana tell me about it here. What do you like and where do you go to get your fix?
